Inspiration

Wild And Free

An old car dealership becomes the perfect venue for new ideas.

The inspiration for this shoot came from the idea of contrasting the history and character of the previous life of the Accelerator Space as a car dealership/warehouse (mixed metals, glass, bold, clean lines) with a variety of lush, geometric greenery to balance the mixed metal elements and celebrate a late springtime love.

Succulents and ferns are so full of such unique and elegant shapes – they were a perfect way to incorporate a bright yet soft pop of color throughout thanks to B. Willow. Adding height and greenery to the tablescape design contrasted the metal panel feature wall of the venue (the metal panels are actually recycled and reused from an industrial space nearby.) We styled custom designed cutting boards (made locally by Words with Boards and alluding to the food focus within Bmore Kitchen, housed on the first floor) as a warm and unique way to display the food/drink elements that Eleven Courses and Catherine George so artistically created. The paper goods and invitation suite by Jill of Tomahawk Design Co. feature gorgeous copper foil lettering and hint back to the gears hanging from the ceiling of the venue. The motorcycle is owned by our model groom and was the perfect piece to relate back to the history of when the venue once housed and showcased vehicles.
