“This sweet and offbeat shoot was inspired by cotton candy skies for a fun and playful atmosphere. An original acrylic painting of a vibrant sunset by Dear Darling Designs and handmade fiber cotton candy clouds by Myth & Moss brought fine art aesthetic to the shoot, and the Popistry by Sabrina cake even had layers of cotton candy baked inside. Haven Street Ballroom proved to be the perfect venue for this shoot—with a pastel hand-painted mural outside and an all-white industrial interior, the space really allowed us to create our own aesthetic. Blending the art installations with the blank white walls gave the shoot upscale art gallery feels, yet the clouds and bright colors kept things fresh and fun. Rogue Petal Co. used wooden clouds filled with florals to create unique centerpieces. All of the florals were faux or dried, meaning that the arrangements and bouquet were 100% reusable.
