Baltimore Gets Married!

Making the case that Baltimore is the best city to get married in.

You blew us away this year, Charm City! Thanks for making the case that Baltimore is the best city to get married in. Our biggest takeaway is that your weddings reflected your personalities, quirks, prized things, and pets, of course. And we wanted to share our favorites here.

We are obsessed with our city.

Remember those “Baltimore: The Greatest City in America” benches? Well, we’d like to humbly suggest an update: The Greatest City in America…To Get Married In. What’s not to love? We have the best flag, the best architecture, the best icons, the best neighborhoods, and yes, even the best salt boxes.

We love our fashion…

Our brides have hit more home runs with their second looks than Gunnar Henderson.

…and stylish ideas.

Big thanks to our city for embracing Champagne towers, family-style seating, old-school cake toppers on simple white cakes, and non-traditional wedding party photos.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously

If there was ever a place that embraces quirkiness and a sense of humor, it’s Baltimore. We are very much here for funny first looks and entrances, piñatas, and “I’m flying” recreations.

…but seriously adore our pets.

Some of you invite your dogs to your weddings—others honor four-legged friends with cake toppers, napkins, favors, and cocktails named after your favorite companions.

Fun food options are endless

You served oysters and s’mores, hot dogs and French fries. So many pizza pies and even some lemon sticks. There were food trucks, mobile bars, and diners. The only rule with wedding food? There are no rules.

…and so are ways to personalize our weddings.

We are all about exceptional ideas to make the entire wedding day feel special, from a rowhouse first look to a surprise Jasmine Blue drag queen performance to a favorite childhood lovey brought out by the father of the bride during his toast.
