“The Empanada Lady, an Afro-Latina and woman-owned restaurant in Baltimore, has earned its place as a local favorite with its traditional Puerto Rican empanadas, flavorful sides, and signature “Nada Cocktail.” Founded by Elisa Milan, the restaurant goes beyond food, providing a space that celebrates love, culture, and community. Our groom wore a custom emerald suit by Shaw’s Covenant, and our bride stunned in a gown from Elite Secrets Bridal, playfully accessorized with bodega finds that added an unexpected twist. The couple shared cocktails at the bar and enjoyed a cozy moment with empanadas in the restaurant’s rich, cultural atmosphere, complete with a mural of the Puerto Rican flag and colorful umbrellas on the ceiling.
