Love Is Sweet

I love warm hues. There is something about the warmth and life that comes with summer hues that brings a smile to my face. Citrus fruit was the main inspiration for this shoot and we knew it would complement the pinks and yellows perfectly to tie all the warm hues together. We used oranges as the place cards which is something we haven’t seen before. We wanted this shoot to be bright, fun and vibrant so we added fizzy sodas and flags to help bring as much color to the shoot as possible. Lattice Tree Studios watercolor invitations are so dreamy and showcased all the fun summer colors we love. Pine Ridge Farms is a brand new venue and the neutral wood of the barn made the bight colors pop perfectly. The simple clean white cake Flavor Cakery provided allowed the citrus to be front and center to solidify the theme of the shoot. We chose our couple because they exuded our inspiration: full of life, laughter, happiness, and fun. – Kira Nicole
