“This shoot was inspired by the city of Baltimore as an industrial backdrop to new beginnings and modern romance. The brick, wood, and metal textures at Wine Market Bistro served as a reminder of Baltimore’s historical roots. The session was rooted in the idea that love can be found in unexpected environments that celebrate history and individuality. The models from the shoot are real Baltimore artists. Annie handcrafts ceramics and carefully curated this shoot from her Ann Margaret Ceramics line. Paul, a local musician, donned a custom suit from Christopher Schafer Clothier. Paul and Annie met the day of the shoot and literally fell in love. Their story brought the original idea for the shoot to life and made it that much more exciting.” – Nikki Daskalakis, Shotgunning for Love Letters
