“We wanted to create a styled shoot for the couple that loves the chicness of the city but also wants to incorporate natural organic elements indoors. In the Art District of Annapolis, a sea of natural light shines down on this romantic scene filled with lush greenery. The greenery is accented by wine and blush florals. The elegant gold leaf details bring a richness to the natural florals and natural wood of the table and chairs, surrounded by all white, bright light on a city block,” says photographer Jennifer Simmons. Planner Ebony Jones, of My Stylish Event, says, “I was really inspired by spring and the beautiful colors, but I wanted to add richness to the color palette. I knew we would have the brightness from the natural light and white walls at the studio. To keep it not as heavy, I paired the rich burgundy color with blush and layered it back with gold accents to bring in a touch of luxury. I wanted to keep the feel very organic and simple, but yet also romantic and moody.”
