Local artist Leah Boelman’s handcrafted pieces are simple perfection: Some reclaimed wood, a few drilled holes to form an image (Maryland, love birds, bicycles, Camden Yards—she can do pretty much anything), plus yarn and oil pastels bring it to life. We’re pretty sure this will be the most oohed-and-aahed-over shower or wedding present. We also think it makes the perfect five-year “wood” anniversary gift. But we also love it as a bridal party thank-you. What can we say? We’re smitten.
