How You Met Nate lived one floor above Kylie in their freshman year dorm at Johns Hopkins University.
The Engagement Nate proposed in November of 2021 at a rooftop restaurant during their trip to Tampa, Florida.
Wedding Design Inspiration The Belvedere Hotel is an iconic and historic Baltimore venue. It’s architecture and classical details had a large influence on our design as we wanted to complement, and not compete with, it’s beauty.
What Was Unique and Special About Your Wedding Day Our wedding was the same weekend as Flower Mart. All of our guest stayed in Mount Vernon and were able to enjoy Flower Mart in their free time. Everyone loved it and it gave all of our out of town guests a unique Baltimore experience.
Favorite Details We incorporated a few sentimental family pieces into our wedding. We used candle rings that Kylie’s late-grandmother handmade sixty years prior. Kylie’s overskirt included lace from her mother’s wedding dress and Nate wore his late-grandfather’s tux buttons.
Most Unexpected Event On Your Wedding Day Meeting Baltimore Hons and another bride and groom at Flower Mart.
Piece of Advice First, work with a great planner that you trust. Second, once the wedding weekend begins, the train has left the station. There’s no controlling it so you just have to go with the flow and enjoy.
