Wedding Design Inspiration We wanted a blend of tropical mixed with industrial design. We love to travel, and the Baltimore Museum of Industry featured a giant plane. The BMI was a call back to the industrial architecture of Fran’s alma mater, The University of Manchester, and spoke to Paul’s love of the beach, since it was on the water.
What Was Unique and Special About Your Wedding Day Fran co-designed her wedding dress with Haute Curry. She incorporated handstitched Lillies of the Valley, in remembrance of her mom, who grew the flowers for her. All jewelry was sustainably sourced, and included pieces from Cambio & Co, who helps pre-colonial filipino craftswomen earn a sustainable living.
The day was also really special to us because we finally got to have our wedding, after years of postponement due to the pandemic. It was a beautiful day, where we finally were able to affirm our love and commitment to each other. The wait was hard, but well worth it.
Favorite Details We closed out our wedding weekend with a post-wedding brunch axe throwing party at Urban Axes, where we love to throw.
Most Unexpected Event On Your Wedding Day We got to dance and sing under the spontaneous fireworks over the harbor with our friends and family.
