How You Met Our story started on February 14th, 2016 (yes, Valentine’s Day), at iHop during Unlimited Pancake Nigh. I was invited by my best friend to join a group of friends and Marius was amongst the group, just enjoying pancakes and good vibes. After that night, Marius found me on Instagram (smooth, right?) and invited me to hang out—just the two of us, no group. And from that moment on, we’ve been inseparable ever since.

The Engagement We had the most magical proposal experience in Cappadocia, Turkey. Picture this: we were whisked away by our photographer to the top of a mountain, where the adventure really began. When we arrived, Marius led me down a red carpet that stretched out to reveal the breathtaking skyline of Cappadocia. And then… I saw it— a sign that said, “Will You Marry Me” surrounded by a sea of hot air balloons soaring above us! It felt like a dream come true, and the whole moment was pure magic.
Wedding Design Inspiration Black-Tie and Emerald City
What Was Unique and Special About Your Wedding Day Our wedding took place at the Baltimore Museum of Art The ceremony was in the museum’s west lawn and reception was in Fox Court. Other special moments—our mothers helping us light our unity candle signifying our union and we had a gelato cart for our guests to enjoy (we found our love for gelato during our first trip to Italy.)

Favorite Details Our wedding had the most stunning ceremony decorations, setting the perfect vibe for the day. Marius even designed our wedding invitations himself—talk about a personal touch. And for the wedding favors, we went all out with custom leather luggage tags, each one engraved with our guest’s name. It was a fun way to make everyone feel extra special while adding a little travel flair to the celebration.
Most Unexpected Event On Your Wedding Day We had a champagne tower. I was not expecting it, but Marius made it happen.
Piece of Advice Be appreciative of every moment during the big day. You can’t control the weather, but you can control your happiness and the energy that you bring to the day. Also be sure to eat breakfast in the morning of the big day.
