Originally from Rockland County, New York, Allie came to Baltimore in 2006 to attend The Johns Hopkins University where she studied writing and art history. Allie graduated in 2010 and returned home to work as a wedding planner in New York City. During her tenure, Allie learned all the intricacies of the wedding planning process including vendor management, dress retail and the art of personalized stationery – not to mention how to seamlessly pin on a boutonniere! After a year in the Big Apple, Allie felt Charm City calling her name, so she took a job in Development and Alumni Relations at Johns Hopkins University. Although working for her alma mater was extremely rewarding, Allie’s passion always remained in weddings. An active participant in the Baltimore Social League playing sports year-round, Allie also enjoys running, anything purple (Go Ravens!), and believes that a little extra sparkle is always a good idea. Allie is ecstatic to be combining her writing background with her love of weddings at Baltimore Bride!
