Zoey & Finn

For Caroline Bailey, navigating the ins and outs of the wedding industry is second nature. Daughter to expert Maryland wedding planner Elizabeth Bailey of Elizabeth Bailey Weddings & Events, Caroline saw a need in the market for niche items perfect for any occasion associated with the bride’s wedding and wedding planning. After growing tired of sending brides to multiple places in search of their unique wishes, Caroline decided to create a singular source for brides complete with the means and resources to create any and all personal items such as specially designed bags, personalized embroidered cocktail napkins, beautiful wreaths, core centerpieces to offset your table settings plus more. And although Caroline and Elizabeth collaborated on the initial concept for Zoey & Finn (named after their beloved dogs – Zoey, a German Shepherd and Finn a chocolate lab), Caroline runs the management of the line solo: going to New York to attend the gift and stationery shows, meeting with clients to help design boutique décor items for their wedding, and working with wholesalers to stock her shelves with only one of a kind items. – Allie Rosenwasser

Baltimore Bride: When did Zoey & Finn start?

Zoey & Finn: Zoey & Finn officially started in February of 2015, but the idea for the business has been around for a couple of years. I recently moved back to Baltimore from North Carolina and felt it was the perfect time to start the company.

BB: What are your inspirations behind the product line?

Z&F: My mother owns an event planning company in Baltimore and for years, she and the other planners in her office have been sending their clients to other sources for party décor and wedding accessories. She and I thought – ‘why don’t we provide a one-stop shop for people to purchase fabulous details for their parties?’ Being event planners, we are keenly aware of wedding and party trends and the latest and greatest colors and design ideas and that information translates into amazing products to offer.

BB: Who do you envision as your customer?

Z&F: We have tried to create a diverse product line that caters to everyone from the person throwing a first birthday party to the host of a wedding. We also found that people were always asking what to gift their bridesmaids, groomsmen and host of their parties, so we carry a wonderful line of gifts as well.

BB: Will you have another pop-up soon?

Our next pop-up is June 11th from 12-8 pm hosted by Elizabeth Bailey Weddings located at 211 Old Padonia Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030.

BB: What future do you see for the company?

Z&F: I hope to one day be the go-to store for everything you need to make your party perfect. We are focused on carrying items that are custom and unique to make sure people feel like they are buying a product they won’t find anywhere else. We are really excited for what the future holds.

BB: What else should brides know about Zoey & Finn?

Z&F: Zoey & Finn isn’t just for the wedding, but also for the engagement party, the rehearsal dinner, the bachelorette party and more! Zoey & Finn can help brides pick out the perfectly appropriate hostess gifts for everyone helping out with your wedding whether it is your mother-in-law, your best girlfriend, or the acquaintance from the other side of the family who is kindly throwing you your bridal shower. Zoey & Finn is really here for the customer – if you want something or see something you really like, we are always willing to look into carrying certain items or placing special orders. Z&F has a “we will look into that!” mentality; great customer service is our main goal.

BB: Where can people find your products?

Z&F: We are creating an online store to be launched after the pop up on June 11th! We also are on Facebook (Zoey & Finn), Instagram (@zoeyandfinn), and twitter (@zoeyandfinn). If someone sees something they like, they are welcome to message me or email me at [email protected] to purchase the product.
